HR Consultants of Denver was founded by Stacey Bledsoe, an HR executive with over 20 years of experience. Stacey spent the majority of her career in business operations. This makes her a true partner because she understands how HR can support the overall business strategy. Most recently, Stacey served as a trusted advisor for executive and leadership teams across the United States for a $10 billion company. She has mastered the HR competencies required to manage the people of your organization. Plus, she has a strong command of the leadership skills necessary to develop talent.

Stacey is adaptable. She has worked in both white and blue-collar environments. She has also worked across many industries in businesses of all sizes and types. These range from Fortune 500, family-owned, employee-owned, and even public to private. Dr. Whelan-Berry is a positive psychology scholar/practitioner with extensive corporate and higher education experience. She focuses on research and practice at the intersection of strengths-based individual, team, and leader performance excellence and resilience; instructional design that cultivates immediate and long-term skills and habits; and individual and organizational positive change. 

Karen has over 20 publications, and numerous presentations at national and regional positive psychology and management conferences and her research has won awards.  Karen has taught undergraduate, graduate, and certificate courses, and has provided training and facilitation in corporate, non-profit, government, healthcare, and higher education organizations.  Karen holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Studies from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College, an MBA from Bentley College, and BS Degree from Franklin Pierce College and a Certificate in Positive Psychology, and a Certification in Wholebeing Positive Psychology Coaching.  Karen works in the area of individual and team performance excellence and resilience and serves as a Practice Partner.
